The Challenge

Where The Dress Outlet started

Occasion wear is brutally competitive on Meta — every prom, wedding and homecoming season, hundreds of stores fight for the same buyers across the US and UK. The Dress Outlet had the catalog and the demand. What it needed was paid social that stayed profitable while it scaled — not spend that burned as it grew.

What We Did

The RevUp Method, applied

Audit → Implement → Scale. We ran The Dress Outlet through the same 90-day framework we use with every client — grounded in data, not guesswork.

  • 1 Ran full-funnel Meta — Advantage+ Shopping, cold prospecting, and remarketing — structured by occasion (wedding, prom, plus, formal) and geo (US / UK)
  • 2 Built a high-volume creative engine — image, video, and carousel ads refreshed continuously so no audience saw stale creative
  • 3 Layered in creator and affiliate collaborations to widen reach and stack social proof on the winning products
  • 4 Optimized weekly on ROAS and cost per purchase — killing losers fast and pushing budget into what was already converting

The Results

What changed

We ran The Dress Outlet's Meta ads as a profit engine, not a spend line. In August 2024, $6,750 in ad spend returned $44,146 — a 6.54x ROAS across 220 purchases. Then we optimized: cut the underperformers, scaled the winners, and refreshed the creative. In September, the same account did $64,017 from $7,467 — an 8.57x ROAS across 315 purchases, with cost per purchase down 23% to $23.70. Roughly $108K in tracked revenue across the two months — and a curve still pointing up.
